To those IndyCar fans that are too young to remember anything besides the formula that currently exists, this is the face of innovation: www.yahoo.com/news/inflatable-habitat-heading-test-run-space-station-164812610.htmlSorta makes rented engines and mandatory chassis look stupid by comparison, doesn't it? Imagine where IndyCars would be today if they had allowed innovation in open wheel racing. What inventions would there be if designers and engineers were allowed to invent?

Good article by Miller. Time to deal wirh the truth. As I said I would prefer I didn't make the feild of 33 if I can't cut itin open competition over making it in a "spec" series. We race for on reason....We think we can win. Building better ideas is why we win. The article pointed of of the at out. Time for Indy to wake up before the end comes for good. Controlling costs is what an owner does. He determines what he can afford to spend. Some need to spenf a fortune to inflate their ego. 1995 proved clear that even the small teams can beat the well financed. Innovation drives business, economys and markets. If not for it, we would all be out of work.
